The staff conducts a visual health check each morning when the child arrives. Children who are displaying signs of illness (diarrhea, unidentified rash, “pink eye”) will not be admitted into the center. Families must make alternate plans for their child when they are ill.
If your child has any of the following symptoms or conditions, keep your child at home:
- The first few days of a cold
- Fever in the last 24 hours
- Vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours
- Any of the ‘childhood diseases’ (i.e. chicken pox, measles, etc.)
- Hand, foot, and mouth disease
- Any contagious condition
- Head lice
