Floor Staff Pay Ranges, depending on experience, ranges from:
- Teacher Assistant: $39,499-$46,642 per year
- Associate Teacher: $47,884- $56,543 per year
- Lead Teacher: $55,696- $73,389 per year
Childcare: Eligibility for this benefit is immediate based on a qualifying family need. Enrollment of qualified dependent(s) is not guaranteed and subject to space permitting. Enrollment requires assessment for eligibility of the subsidized childcare program. (First child is free, second child requires employee to pay family fee [subsidized] or 25% off [private], subsequent children are full cost).
Read More 401K: EDS offers a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with a company-match contribution of up to 4%. Paid Holidays: EDS has designated 10 paid holidays each year including New Year’s Day, MLK Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Paid Winter Break: EDS is closed the week between Christmas and New Years Day. Paid Time Off: Employees begin to accrue Paid Time Off (“PTO”) immediately which is accrued each pay cycle and calculated based on the employee’s regular hours worked and PTO claimed. The PTO calculation excludes overtime. PTO is accrued based on regular hours (excludes overtime) Longevity Pay: In appreciation for dedicated service, all staff in Full-Time Regular and Part-Time Regular status (regardless of position) will receive Longevity Pay. Longevity Pay is based on an employee’s Full-Time Regular ($1000) or Part-Time Regular ($500) employment category at the time of their anniversary date. Education Premium: EDS provides staff a monthly premium ranging from $200-$600 per month (in addition to hourly pay) for AA/AS/BA/BS degrees in relevant positions. Medical/Dental Insurance: Premium costs are shared between the company and the employee for employee as well as qualified dependent(s) coverage. Employer Contribution is 90%/Employee Contribution is 10% for employee enrolled coverage and Employer Contribution is 50% for qualified dependents enrolled coverage/Employee Contribution is 50% for qualified dependents enrolled coverage. Medical benefits are through Blue Cross for a $5 co-pay and $200 in-network deductible plan.
