Shannan Watkins

Shannan is the Executive Director of Early Development Services. She has been with the Agency since its inception in 1998.

Shannan’s vision has been the driving force behind the agency and her creativity and knowledge has helped us remain a leader in Monterey County. Shannan has an Associate of Science degree in Child Development from Monterey Peninsula College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development with minors in Developmental Education, Early Childhood Education, and Childcare from Pacific Oaks College, as well as a Masters of Arts degree in Human Development with minors in Leadership in Human Services and College Teaching, also from Pacific Oaks College. She also possesses her Program Director Credential. She has been President of the local Association for the Education of Young Children as well being elected to California Association for the Education of Young Children State Board. She is currently the Chair of the Monterey County Child Care Planning Council as well as teaching child development courses at Monterey Peninsula and Hartnell College specializing in infant & toddler care. In her spare time, she provides consulting services to other child development programs, specializing in programs funded by the California Department of Education, Early Care & Learning Department.

Michelle Deppe

Michelle is the Human Resources Director for Early Development Services. She has been with the Agency since 2008.

Michelle began her relationship with Early Development Services as the very first parent ever enrolled in our program in 1998. Michelle’s Human Resources experience began with Dole Dried Fruit and Nut in Fresno. She later moved to the Monterey Bay Area and took on the Human Resources Departments at VNA and Product Development Corporation in Monterey before becoming EDS Human Resources Director in 2008.

Melanie Allison

Melanie is the Educational/Pedagogical Director for Early Development Services. She has been with the Agency since 2018.

Melanie is the Educational/Pedagogical Director for Early Development Services. Melanie has an Associate of Arts degree in Child Development from Hartnell College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development from San Jose State University, Master of Arts degree in Woman’s Spirituality from Sophia University as well as her California Program Director Credential. Melanie is also faculty at Monterey Peninsula College

Becky Buckner

Becky is the Center Director of Peninsula Center for Infant & Toddler Development. She has been with Early Development Services since 2000.

Becky specializes in infant and toddler care. She has an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Monterey Peninsula Community College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Services from Concordia University as well as her California Program Director credential.

Candace Frazure

Candace is the Center Director for Oram Children's Center. She has been with Early Development Services since 2004.

Candace has an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Monterey Peninsula College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Services from Concordia University as well as her California Program Director credential.

Erika Santistevan

Erika is the Center Director for Crescita Early Learning Center. She has been with Early Development Services since 2021.

Erika has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Washington State University, as well as her California Program Director credential.

Ghennay Woods

Ghennay is the Center Director for Avondale Early Education Center. She has been with Early Development Services since 2008.

Ghennay has an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Hartnell Community College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Services from Concordia University as well as her California Program Director credential.

Jennifer Sebolino

Jennifer is the Center Director for CSU Monterey Bay Child Development Center. She has been with Early Development Services since 2005.

Jennifer has an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Monterey Peninsula College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Services from Concordia University as well as her California Program Director credential.

Maria Aliotti

Maria is the Assistant Center Director for Orom Children’s Center. She has been with Early Development Services since 2021.

Maria has an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Monterey Peninsula College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Adolescent Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from San Jose State University.

Sheriden Cooley

Sheriden is the Assistant Center Director for Avondale Early Education Center. She has been with Early Development Services since 2017.

Sheriden has an Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education from Monterey Peninsula College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Oregon as well as her Site Supervisor Permit.

Staci Rich

Staci is the Center Director of Betteravia Early Education Center. She has been with Early Development Services since 2015.

Staci has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Brandman University as well as her California Program Director Credential.

Tiffany Allen

Tiffany is the Center Director at Tisztelet Children's Center. She has been with Early Development Services since 2006.

Tiffany has an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Monterey Peninsula College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Services from Concordia University as well as her California Program Director Credential.

Maria Elena Navarro

Maria is a Mentor Lead. She has been with Early Development Services since 2019.

Maria has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from San Francisco State University. In addition, she has a Master Teacher permit.

Stephanie Kibler

Stephanie is a Mentor Lead. She has been with Early Development Services since 2006.

Stephanie has an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Monterey Peninsula College.
